The Congregational Church, UCC in Tryon welcomes persons of all ages, races, social and economic circumstances, sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions, abilities and church backgrounds to participate in the life and ministry of our church.Denomination
As a member church of the United Church of Christ (UCC), a distinct and diverse community of Christians, we are autonomous – looking to the Holy Spirit as we make decisions as a congregation about our life and ministry together. Yet, we also honor our covenant with our denomination working as one larger church body to join faith and action. The UCC is a church of firsts, a church of extravagant welcome, and a church where “…they may all be one” (John 17:21). Learn more about the UCC’s rich history and theology at www.ucc.org.
