A community of faith formation. The biblical concept of family is inclusive, cross generational, and includes more people who are not simply connected by birth, marriage, or adoption. It is the community where we enact the love of Jesus, extending that welcome in love, service, peace, justice, action, and solidarity. This is where faith formation, the life-long work of the entire community to grow in the language of our faith and follow Jesus, happens. Classes, small group ministries, workshops, worship, and service are all part of faith formation.

The Joy & Justice book club rotates between fiction and non-fiction books. Typically we read and discuss one book per quarter. The group meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM in the Church Parlor.
Our 4th Quarter book club selection is:
Dear Church: A Love Letter From A Black Preacher To The Whitest Denomination in the U.S. by Lenny Duncan.
MEDIA THAT MATTERS
The Media That Matters program explores films (short & feature) and audio that invite us to reflect on our faith, perspectives, and humanity. Meets quarterly.
Our 3rd Quarter movie selection is:
“The Armor of Light”, is a documentary that follows an Evangelical minister and the mother of a teenage shooting victim who ask, is it possible to be both pro-gun and pro-life? Is it possible for liberals and conservatives to discuss issues that divide America in a perfectly civil manner?
Join us for a conversation about God, theology, our faith, our lives, and current events. Meets at 5:30 PM, 3rd Wednesday of the Month. Topics and locations vary.
